Here are some links to sites that I have visited and found interesting enough to recommend to you from within my own pages. I hope that you enjoy them as much as I did - get bookmarking.
.More links will be added as seen fit.
Have you ever heard of 'Project Gutenberg'? It's quite amazing - the people there are creating electronic texts of as many non-copyright books as they can. Generally these are old books where the copyright is no longer in existance. They are then giving the etexts away for free! You can find out more and get some downloads here at Project Gutenberg
Alternative Browser
Are you sick of the browser
duopoly? Here's a great alternative called
which I use. It claims to be faster than other browsers because the code
it uses is more compact. It does seem faster. It also has a lot of neat
features that I like. Multiple browser windows can be displayed at the
same time. You can also have your 'favourite sites list' in a window too.
The 'current' settings can be saved so that as soon as you run Opera again
it carries on where you left off! Download a free 30 Day Trial and see for
yourself. (Now at version 3.6 - available for WIN3.x and
WIN95)
HTML Purists take note!
On a similar theme it seems that the big boys in the browser world are hi-jacking the 'Web' by customising HTML to fit only 'their' browser. If you're interested in this and want to read more then visit http://www.anybrowser.org/campaign/
